When is the new single being released? December?

 

The whole project has been delayed until the Spring at the earliest due to the TV special being produced. The hologram technology isn't up to scratch either - yet. The good news is that it is possible that we may get a whole studio album not just a couple of songs.

 

Thanks. Shame it’s delayed, but if it means a whole album, then great news.

 

If the sessions for the two new songs went as well as the band said they did, it would surely make sense for them to at least continue recording. They could then decide if there were enough quality songs to release a whole album.

 

Or just release them anyway, and let us decide whether they are any good or not.

 

I am actually optimistic that we might get another Abba album. Why wouldn't they if things are going so well between them and they feel they still have the same magic in the studio.
It would be great to have new Abba music...

Are ABBA about to release a new album?

 

I do hope you´re right. I would love to add some new ABBA songs to my collection. As far as I´m concerned, even the worst ABBA songs are good.

Never thought about it, probably because what you said is true. They don’t have any songs I feel I need to skip! How many artists can you say that about, and they have what, six or seven albums (I have them all). Even the first couple where the guys sing lead, even if the songs are silly (King Kong Song for example) they are fun to listen to. Remarkable. My favorite all time group are the Bee Gees and every single one of their albums has at least one song I want to skip, except for Main Course. To be fair, their catalogue goes from the 60’s-2000’s. And ABBA’s last few songs were getting weak for me personally (like The Day Before You Came, but around here I’m in the minority so clearly it’s a good song that just didn’t resonate with me).
