I must have somehow missed doublenaught's post explaining ponkine's post, so my apologies as the OP to both ponkine and doublenaught. The Syd cover does meet the minimum qualification for the thread, although that cover doesn't show off the Harvest logo to best effect as it's hard to see.

But the Michael Jackson and the Byrds are threadcrap! No mushrooms there!

Aren't those daisies on the Quicksilver album or am I missing the mushrooms?

    Why, a toadstool, of course!

Shady Grove is one of my very favorite albums, which is why I selected it to inaugurate the thread.

    Here's my contribution, then!

As for the Byrds and Michael Jackson covers, maybe the posters thought they're just a bunch of fun guys.

PS Shady Grove is a great album

Sorry, Aftermath... SHF member Neonbeam already posted this on the previous page. But to give you credit for doing something right, at least you posted the cover the right way up! But even then, you neglected to label the post. This is important because it makes the thread searchable, and less likely to be littered with duplicate images.

I can’t work out how to upload a picture but the rear cover of Tori Amos’ Little Earthquakes featured two rather phallic looking mushrooms.
