I can't find any info on the long-awaited follow-ups to these releases, anyone got some knowledge? White Zombie – La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One Michael Jackson – HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I Van Halen – Best Of, Volume I
Yeah, I know what you mean. I spent a lifetime looking for "Reasons to be Cheerful, Parts 1 & 2" by Ian Dury & The Blockheads.... If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.
I can understand your mistake, but that's actually part of the instructions for listening: put away your biases and turn the loudness dial to the lowest setting
A word of advice to the OP, in future please make your thread titles more explanatory. Thread title edited from 'When is the second part coming out?' in order to make sense to others.
The Story Of The Clash, Volume 1 never had a follow up. Supposedly the second volume was to be a live compilation, but we got From Here To Eternity: Live 11 years later instead.
I can understand your mistake, but that's actually part of the instructions for listening: put away your record, turn the loudness dial to the lowest setting and read a book instead.
The Velvet Underground - Bootleg Series Volume 1: The Quine Tapes "The Quine Tapes is, to date, the only entry in the Bootleg Series. The second volume was to be a recording of an April 1967 show at The Gymnasium in New York City, which marked the live debut of "Sister Ray". Two songs from the show, "Guess I'm Falling in Love" and "Booker T", appeared on the box set Peel Slowly and See (1995), and the full show was released in December 2013 as part of the "Super Deluxe" reissue of White Light/White Heat. It contains the only known recorded performance of "I'm Not a Young Man Anymore". Monetary disputes between the band and Universal have apparently put a hold on future entries in the series." (Not sure about that last bit; I was under the impression that the death of Robert Quine simply put an end to the series).
I wish people would take the time to do a search before they start a thread. If the did they would have easily found this comprehensive, still open, thread on the EXACT same subject. Jeez. Volume 1 albums for which there was never a volume 2...
Even though the BB's don't sing lead on any of the tracks, I really enjoy this album for their harmonies and some of the great country artists great performances. Also, I believe these were the last sessions with Carl before he passed away. My all time favorite cover of a BB song. She is simply remarkable.
CoreLeoni The Greatest Hits - Part 1 Which is not a greatest hits, but re-recordings of the band Gotthard along with a new song. Tell No Lies
