Sign me up as another one wanting Tom Petty's Wildflowers If they ever get the legal dispute sorted out I'd like Prince's The Gold Experience as well.
Thiiiiiiiis. Finally caved and bought a bootleg a couple weeks ago. That Lullabies reissue is bullish!t. The original vinyl release had three additional songs integrated into the album. Why use the CD tracklist for the MOV pressing? Worthless.
Prince - all of his albums that are currently out-of-print. How’s that for starters? Also, I want a vinyl LP box set for Emancipation. It would have to be 6 LPs as it was a triple CD album. Supergrass - all of their albums are OOP on LP and are selling for $100 on Ebay. Just give me a quality reissue of We’re In It For the Money, please. Also, they need to come out of retirement and make music again. They’re too good to quit. Teenage Fanclub - same as above, only moreso. Soda Stereo, Gustavo Cerati - while all these albums have been reissues on LP in Latin America, the same can’t be said for Estados Unitos, amd it remains a criminal oversight. It’s like missing out on The Beatles or Pearl Jam. Just let me have Cerati’s albums without having to pay $50 a pop. Also, I want a 2-LP reissue of Dynamo that includes all 12 tracks, not the single-disc version that cut out three songs. (BTW, if you’re seriously looking for Prince albums, just take a weekend visit to Minneapolis and scour the major record stores. You’ll find almost everything there if you’re lucky enough.)
Any Sound of White Noise LP must include all tracks. Black Lodge was cut from the original LP release, which royally sucks because it’s a killer song and offers a much-needed break on the album’s second half.
Got myself Pork Soda, now I'm feeling just fine! Seriously though, I'm very happy with the quality of this vinyl. So that's one down. If I get one a year I'll take either Dino or Malkmus next.
Neil Young and Crazy Horse: Weld Juliana Hatfield Three: Become What You Are J Mascis: Martin + Me Paul Westerberg: Stereo/Mono Paul Westerberg: Come Feel Me Tremble Paul Westerberg: Folker Beautiful People: If 60's Was 90's
Haven't Teenage Fanclub just seen a massive reissue campaign? Prince albums are about to be reissued too!
So.... the MOV "Lullabies" is "bullsh!t" but the counterfeit of "Songs For The Deaf" is good? Interesting take! (Btw: The reason why the MOV reissue follows the CD is pretty obvious, isn't it? Still it's an official release. Which most likely won't make the originals price come down. Best of both worlds!)
Would love to see Love Battery's discography get reissued and issued on vinyl especially Day-Glo. I believe their last couple albums were never issued on vinyl so would really love that. Would love to see Trashcan Sinatras, Beautiful South, and The Housemartins get some new vinyl releases. Those later Beautiful South albums from Blue is the Colour to Painting it Red are especially hard to find. And just to add on Wildflowers please already.
AC/DC “TNT” The Cure “Wish” (though I paid through the nose for an original) Beck “Midnight Vultures” Yes, Tom Petty “Wildflowers” Janet Jackson “Design of a Decade (Best)” - UK version with UK cover art Until The End of the World - soundtrack, because “Death’s Door” (the proper original version not that Jazz Mix) sounds so poor on CD... Bloc Party “A weekend in the city”
It's strange that "Silent Alarm" has seen three reissues so far yet this one nil. Somehow I like this better than their (great) first album. Has it REALLY been 12 years....?
How many are actually analog recordings? I'm pretty sure the first two aren't, probably Matters of the Heart is since she changed engineering team to get a more analog sound (I think, it definitely sounds a lot more analog), but not sure after that.
As of late, most of the titles I've wanted to come out, most have been reissued. Blind Melon, Cracker, many titles. Some great, fantastic, some just ok. These are several I still would like to see that haven't happened yet. Some are rumored, but still haven't been done. Type O Negative World Coming Down October Rust Heart Live/Greatest Hits (Expanded, 6 LP Box Set) Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young CSNY 1974 Box Set Silverchair Young Modern Zebra(Quality Remaster) S/T No Tellin Lies Blue Murder(Quality Remaster) S/T Nothin But Trouble TOOL (Quality Remaster) An obvious one, but still, the catalog should be available Blondie(Quality Remaster, first time vinyl issues) No Exit Curse Of Blondie The Pretenders (Quality Remaster) Yes, these have been done before, I'm speaking strictly, non Mo Fi, regular easily available, not expensive reissues, if they are AAA high end reissues, then I'm cool with higher priced pressings, I'm not sure they have been cut from analog in a long time, anyone know the full story? S/T II EP
Tool Please for the love of God and Jose Gonzales because he is Amazing but his vinyl sounds horrible.
You know, I love this album too. As far as “better than Silent Alarm”, The song “This Modern Love” gives Silent Alarm the edge for me. One of my favorite songs in the last two decades...
