Alfred Hitchcock Hour ~ Presents a true classic… “THE MAGIC SHOP” episode from 1964.
A particularly killer-diller hour long superb creeper!
IF you have seen it, then you know.. if not, I strongly suggest catching it.
One of the great creepers! Much like Rod Serling’s epic episode “It’s A Good Life”..

It airs tonight on the cable channel called: ME TV , most cable co’s carry Hitchcocks and
Twilight Zones late night. It is TONGHT at 12 MIDNIGHT Central - 1:00 AM Eastern.

You can stream Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Hour on Peacock. Watching Presents now, started from ep. 1, very few episodes missing.

I recorded it and just finished watching it. Very creepy kid.
Not a typical Alfred Hitchcock episode. Thanks for the tip.

    Season 2.

I watched it today. It was ok IMO. It did remind me of the Twilight Zone episode It’s A Good Life.

  10. Ah thanks, that’s The Alfred Hitchcock Hour season 2 -not Alfred Hitchcock Presents. I don’t think theses episodes are available on Peacock.

Not this one. Hitchcock only directed 2-3 episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents per season, and only one Alfred Hitchcock Hour in the three seasons of that show.

They did some very creepy, bizarre episodes of that show in the last few seasons. "The Jar" from that same season is very strange, based on a Ray Bradbury short story.

That was also a bizarro one.. The Magic Shop,
I think was better.. a particularly different Hitch episode. This and the TZ episode I had mentioned are tops.. both left that after show
    chill.

  17. Wow...what a creepy episode. Far closer in substance to a Twilight Zone episode that the standard Hitchcock Presents. I had never seen this episode before, and like it's close cousin "It's A Good Life" from the TZ, it has the creepy, evil kid on the inside, juxtaposed with an innocent looking sweet kid on the outside. Very effective.

  18. Daedalus

Daedalus I haven't heard it all.....

I still have memories of that episode from the first time I saw it when it debuted! Creeped me then…...and still does.
