Amazon AU price watch thread...

They promised me the Dylan cd I ordered Sunday would arrive on Monday, then they changed it to Friday and it arrived today (Wednesday)

 

Yep, all the stuff I ordered over the weekend that was meant to arrive today hasn't been shipped yet!

 

Yeah, they emailed me that it was too late to cancel my order because it'd been dispatched but obviously it hadn't.

Yes, I had a similar experience with something I ordered today. Oddly, something ordered yesterday arrived today (metro Melbourne area)...

I suspect they've moved warehouses. Who knows.

 

This would have easily fitted in the letterbox but they left it on the doorstep.

 

Nearly all the music items on my wants lists are still 100 - 300% more expensive than they were a few days ago

 

Anyone seeing prices falling like they used to? I’m not sure any more that the same drops are happening. It did slow down over the last 3-6 months, nothing like the glory days of 2019.

 

I agree, the dirt cheap bargains from a couple of years ago are becoming much harder to find - the glory days are over!

Agree as well, definitely slowed down over the last 6 months. It was good while it lasted!

 

With yet another lockdown in Victoria, I will have plenty of time to crate dig through the Amazon site for bargains!

 

very strange, many of my wants are now available through Amazon Australia, weren't three days ago - but still with hefty price tags

 

I've pretty much given up on their vinyl bargains...
Bought heavily while I could, shouldn't complain.

 

I am not having much luck with music festivals this year, Echuca Blues Festival has just been cancelled.

I just bought a CD from the Outlet Store from Amazon. Usually I get this either the next day or the day after. But this time it says it will be arriving on Saturday 24 July!!! (ie in 8 days time).

Has anyone else had such a surprising delivery delay for something sold by Amazon.au and shipped from them?

 

Yes, I have an LP on order that's scheduled to arrive July 29. That's a two week lead time on something that usually takes 24-48 hours.

My guess is they moved warehouses and are allowing for some break in time.

 

Yep, purchased an LP on 14 July from in stock at amazon.au, now telling me delivery on 28 July. Usually it's a few days...
