This has been jumping up and down in price for a while, got some bad publicity from collectors when it was released, a couple of tracks were deleted because they were deemed racist

The (Record Collecting) Gods Must Be Crazy One of the few people on this forum who dislikes King Crimson - and guess who gets their $35 order fulfilled - and well packaged to boot!

Really? All this casual King Crimson bashing. I think they're excellent and the 'Discipline' album which the On and off the road is built around is one of their classics. If you haven't heard their albums give them a try, you might actually like them. And if you're a casual fan, then these box sets are probably overkill for you.. Just reading all these put downs and needed to comment [would heartily recommend In the court of the Crimson king, larks tongues in Aspic, Ref, Discipline and Thrak]
Nah, no bashing. Its a thread in-joke as one particular member is not a fan (which is fair enough) and yet he ordered a deluxe box set (at massive discount, which is also fair enough). It's good for a laugh. Rock on.
Rock On indeed! I am very tempted to open the KC box set, it comes with two concert posters, concert program, setlist, concert tickets, press releases, promo photo and "other memorabilia" - all the stuff that makes for a great box set I am driving to Thredbo tomorrow to go to the Blues Festival - I could play some of the KC boxset CDs and be a convert by the time I arrive!
I'm hoping this will be a new renaissance for you. You'll come back from Thredbo with a raging passion for all things King Crimson and start chucking out posts like "Really? All this casual King Crimson bashing...."
PEGGY LEE - BLACK COFFEE 1XLP $42 Acoustic Sounds reissue. Absolutely stellar AAA issue, this series generally is top notch and this release is no exception. Quality jacket and vinyl, probably Peggy Lee's best album, great late night listening. https://www.amazon.com.au/Black-Coffee-Peggy-Lee/dp/B08KH8996B
Good point - I may have some sort of King Crimson epiphany at the foot of Mt Kosciusko! In defense of King Crimson - I have heard worse music , but probably best to leave it at that!
