Hey thanks for watching! I don't state my own opinion, in the main, because I'm a bit sick of the know-it-alls on YT constantly telling me what is right for my system, and my ears - and frankly the point of my videos is to let people make up their own minds, based on their own preferences. You know how you go to Discogs and there are a million cloth-eared nobodys telling you one pressing is better than another, with no providence, no idea of what system they are basing their opinion on? That all seems so pointless to me. At least with my take, you get the same turntable, the same arm, the same cart, the same cables, the same capture and post-processing, the identical chain processing the different sounds. From there, you've got some decent basis for making a like-for-like judgement on what you are hearing, and can speak with some authority on perhaps what might be best for you. But I'm afraid even our good learned American and European friends on SH Forums make judgements everyday, having never listened to another copy of a record, while espousing one's superiority over another. So that's what the videos are for. Thanks for the tip on that Audiophile A&M - I didn't know that! Missed that in my research. If I had one, I would have loved to include it. Next edition perhaps?
Personally I think David Tickle made True Colours sound amazing and I don't hear too much difference between the 7 original editions (from YouTube via earbuds on an iPhone), so I don't think there is a 'bad' version. I've still not warmed to the 2020 remix... Wondering how many versions of Time & Tide you have, I think Hugh Padgham did an amazing job on that one too (and then there's the Geof Emerick produced Dizzrythmia )

Really well packed. I had to open two boxes and bubble wrap just to get to it. It was much bigger than I expected. The box is 7 inches. It's exactly the same dimensions as Electric Sevens by T. Rex.
I think the inner box was from the record company rather than Amazon (like the Sign O the Times box). If they'd have just put a label on that inner box it still would have survived the mail.

Yes it's good to hear some good news Amazon shipping stories! I ordered the David Crosby LP deal posted here just a few days ago and it's already out for delivery today. And it's from Amazon USA! That's bloody amazing! Hopefully not shipped in a paper bag!!! Meanwhile in an alternative universe I ordered a Joni Mitchell box set from Atlantis Music in Queensland who now post on their website that everything has ceased due to illness and they won't answer the phone or respond to emails. All the trustpilot and Google reviews are mostly bad too. I'm currently $175 down!!! If no response next week I'll sadly have to hit them with a Visa chargeback
