That sucks! I left some potential candidates for next time, but no way at their regular prices.

Fat Possum "We're Trying Our Best" Records need to try much much harder.

I got every fault you can get on a record apart from them not actually being broken in two.

 

Every time I buy a record it's got a hole in it!!!!

 

You can send it back of course - Amazon will honour quality issues as always.
Shame though.

 

What happened? Seam split? Dirty record? Warp? Noise?

 

Records are dirty and look like people have been dancing on them but I could clean them. Not worth it though because both are very warped, deeply scratched (not superficial marks) with blobs of vinyl protruding from the surface. The full catastrophe. Nothing wrong with the sleeve

 

Thanks for the post @Box Set. That seals it. I have been riding on the price drop. Never mind, I have added some great Townes vinyl over the years. Time to spin.

I use these for CDs in box sets etc. where pulling things in and out can cause scratching.

 

I once got a record without a hole. True story.
Well the goal was hiding under a think layer of excess / overflow. Not sure how it could actually happen.

 

I have this on order with Amazon, but no delivery date as yet, will be interesting to see what my copy is like if/when it turns up

 

Oh dear!!! At least the poor factory workers were having a great dance party!!!

 

Nothing surprises me including not even finding a record inside the sleeve. The cover version as @imarcq called it when it happened to me twice.

Another repost - fantastic box set AAA

 

This is so worth getting!!!

 

I bought mine on a whim for $120 and it's now one of my favourite box sets. I hadn't heard a single note from the whole box. Now it gets played regularly.

 

Ok...you talked me into it! I did a quick YouTube listen to a couple of songs....I do like Jazz Fusion and at this price, you cannot go wrong. Cheers.

This box set periodically gets reduced in price. I'm sure it will be again. The amount of good vibes in this forum for this release means that I need to give it a good listen as well.
