Amazon.com Analogue Productions SACD Sale

That has been the price for Story for a while, it did not drop today.

 

St. Louis Blues is my favorite single album by NKC.

But Story is great too.

You can't go wrong.

 

I decided to get both Story and St. Louis Blues. I am sure I'll be happy. thanks for the tips.

 

Better get them while you can, keep waiting and they will be $50.00+.

 

The very thought of you sacd rolled down to 25.XX. Was approx $40 for ever.

 

Amazon currently has Freddie Hubbard's Hub-Tones SACD for $20.15.

 

Amazon's price for Hub-Tones is now $19.63.

 

Lee Morgan's The Sidewinder is now $20.16.

 

Those are nicer prices too with the $25 free shipping purchase or member super saver shipping. Pretty good deal there.

Dave Brubeck' Time Out is now availible for preorder. $30.40 is not a great price but it's there. I hope the last couple batches start to go down in price. That's what I am waiting for.

 

So are the two Holly Coles. I'd grab those if the pre-order price was in the $20 range like the old days. But the regular CDs sound so good that I'm not sure the SACDs would be worth the $30 expense. To me, anyway...

 

Wonder if these e-tailers are being charged more by Analogue Productions (or their distributor).

The last few batches of SACDs have all been more expensive, by a considerable margin, at ImportCDs too.
Used to be below $20, now over $26

 

As of this moment, the Shelby Lynne SACD is $24.91, Billie Holiday's Songs for Distingue Lovers is $25.88, and The Nat King Cole Story is $48.72.

 

Shelby Lynne SACD is $24.91 - that's worth it. I'll go for that.

 

That Nat King Cole is tempting.

 

I went for the Billie Holiday. I have the nice-sounding Dennis Drake-mastered CD, but for $25.88 total I thought it was worth seeing if the SACD tops it.

The Nat King Cole Story is now $47.39.

 

Now down to 46.90.

 

$47.39 is Amazon's price. IIRC, $46.90 is from a third-party source fulfilled by Amazon. I'm being nitpicky today...

 

Really? I put something else on my Wishlist, and then on the list of stuff that scrolls across with "People who Bought XXXXX Also Purchased..." stuff they had the NKC with that price on it. I didn't think they listed third-party sources as the "primary" price in those instances? Checking the actual listing, however, it looks like that is exactly what they did.

Don't think I've ever seen that before.

 

I've seen that a few times with these SACDs. I always post Amazon's price, even if it's a bit higher, because I assume that people would rather order directly from them if the prices are basically identical.
