Another delay in Because Sound Matters vinyl releases?

I was at a record store today and we looked at announced product from a major distributor. There were no Hoffman titles listed for the next couple of weeks...does anyone know if the calendar slipped a bit again?

Steve, do you have an update for us?

Or could it be possible some distributors will not have this product for a while?

Last I heard the release date was September 11th.

 

I've only a quick minute at work...which ones did you cut Steve?

 

Do you have any inside info when they will hit the shelf?

We fans are anxious.

 

Steve's said about these titles and others in the past that he just cuts them and usually has no idea when they'll really hit the street. The labels make the announcements about release dates.

 

Yes, you are right Craig, but I get worried when I see no visibility on distributor sheets. Hopefully things are still on track. It may an issue at the distributor end.

 

It's just the format. If you are going to do it the right way, you might have to cut it several times in order to get the best product. I know that the VP at WB will have the cutting engineer do it several times until it is to his satisfaction. This is the same at MFSL. It is a difficult medium and you can't release it like a cd.

 

AS is still showing this as pre-order. Did anyone get a shipped notice?
