My friend Gord, who I mention from time to time (he and I have collected records and CDs together since the early '80s) has a question for you.

What is the current state of the Argent and Colin Blumstone catalogue? Gord and one of his brother's Don are huge fans.

Does Sony/Epic still have the rights to Argent in North America and the U.K.? Are they any Sony/Legacy remasters of the individual albums or at least a good compilation set? Or have smaller specialty labels licensed some the albums for their own remastering?

    Gord says thanks. :)

Yes, Sony still has the rights to the Argent material. Collectables and BGO have issued several of Argent's albums.

    What about Colin's solo albums?

Bradley, do you have any of them? How do they sound? Any extras, bonus tracks? Which label has which titles?

I don't have any of the Argent reissues: BGO has a twofer of the self-titled and Ring of Hands, KOCH had All Together Now available but that's now OOP, Collectables has standalone CD of Ring of Hands, In Deep, and a live album.
