Some band w/Jeff Lynne, Ringo Starr, McCartney and Harrison passed themselves off as the Beatles for Free as a Bird.

Also, didn't the Beatles record as Klaatu in the 70s? :)

Green Day supposedly just release an album as a band called "The Network" called Money Money 2020.

John Lee Hooker had a lot of great psuedonyms.

'DEREK & THE DOMINOS' is the name of the BAND,it doesn't refer to just Clapton. His name is on both albums,it's not like he was hiding, which is the idea of using a pseudonym.

Keyboardist Klaus Schulze recorded a few albums under the name of Richard Wahnfried. His guitarist on a couple of these was listed as "Karl Wahnfried". Most believe "Karl" to be Carlos Santana. Sure sounds like him.

Michael Bloomfield had a few pseudonyms when he was a session player in the 60s.

Two Jews Blues - Barry Goldberg (credited as "Great")
Living With the Animals - Mother Earth (credited as "Makal Blumfeld")

If I remember right, there was an album called Music From Free Creek which used several musicians recording under different names: Jeff Beck (A.N. Other), Eric Clapton (King Cool) and others I can't remember at the moment.
