Trevor Rabin- Can't Look Away... except for the drums. Same with Nuno Bettencourt.

Some of my favorite albums were played entirely by the artist... Jason Falkner and Emitt Rhodes.

What about Stevie Wonder's Music of My Mind? Isn't that supposed to be all him?

His first album, too: For You. I would almost wager that Dirty Mind and Controversy were all Prince, or if anyone else was involved, it would have been minimal. I'm wondering if his soundtrack for Batman was all his, too. It's so hard to tell with his albums, though: some tracks could be all his where others are band efforts.

AFAIK, the first album by The Time was basically Prince with Morris Day on vocals. I believe Dez Dickerson co-wrote some of those songs, but don't know if he played on the album or not.

Unless Linda helped out there with some backing vocals too...

Although, I don't know for sure.

Far as I know Prince's first album was completely played and sung by Prince. I think Andre Cymone did contribute some bass and vocals to the second album. And on Dirty Mind Lisa Coleman provides vocal support on "Head", and Dr. Fink plays keyboards on "Head" and the title track as well as co-writing it with Prince. The Batman soundtrack was a total solo effort by Prince, since the Revolution had disbanded by then and he hadn't yet put together the New Power Generation.

I think Lenny Kravitz "Let Love Rule" is all him. Dave Edmunds "Plugged In" also.

Two more I thought of (I think these are right): Gary Wright "Dream Weaver" and World Party "Egyptology". World Party is really Karl Wallinger solo.

Nope. Steve Broughton played drums, Sally Oldfield & Mundy Ellis sang background vocals, Jon Field played flutes and Lindsay Cooper played some bass.

    How about Springsteen's Nebraska?

'Steve Winwood' features various session players, however his second album 'Arc Of A Diver' is all done and sung by the man himself.

And oddly enough, ALL of Mike Oldfield's albums feature players or singers other than himself! Except 'Guitars' and maybe 'Tubular Bells 2003' that is...

I'm pretty sure that the Foo Fighter's 1st album is all Dave Grohl.

Prince was who came to mind first. I'm pretty sure The Black Album was all him.
