Artists whose songs all sound the same to you

Not singling anyone out but the whispered introspective singer songwriters of last couple of decades.

 

I find some ELP not to my liking, but the tracks Tarkus and Karn Evil 9 are splendid pieces of music.

I am an old (50) Prog fan, but I also like many other bands.

I have some of my favourite bands listed in my profile.

I don’t really think anyone has bad taste, just their taste.

Then again I think Jellyfish Spilt Milk is the greatest album of all time, so what do I know

Also, being on the spectrum, I’m as honest as you can get... I just can’t help it

 

Has anyone else ever noticed that the instrumental break in The Beatles' Girl has a decidedly Balkan influence to it?

I think their second album sounds a bit more 'cinematic' than their debut, if that makes any sense. And, yeah, their third is a whole other experience.

The inclusion of Alison Krauss above reminded me of how similar all of George Strait’s songs sound.

I love them both.

Some artists just do best within a certain style, and do a lot with it by selecting great songs and singing them well.

 

At first I really thought they were a joke band but once you get used to it, you realize they're great songwriters.
