Audi A5 B&O Surround System- DVD Audio Playback Issue

I've got B&O in my 2018 Audi A4 allroad wagon and was amazed to discover 5.1 playback when I popped-in Blue Man Group's "Audio Surround Mix". To avoid the video restriction and to maximize playback choice, I've ripped 6-channel flac from my multichannel audio discs to an SD card (haven't ripped my SACDs yet - still searching for used equipment). Playback is immersive and I don't mind getting stuck in traffic. Remember to keep the B&O's surround effect off if you want to stay true to the original surround mix.

 

Thanks. I do have the surround effect off on the system. I have to agree. This system takes Automobile listening to another level. I've been playing mostly DTS, DVDA's, and videos and have thoroughly enjoyed them. Like any other playback medium, some are better than others. For instance, the Steven Wilson Yes sets are fantastic. The Genesis DTS discs are ok, but that's how they are on my home system as well. Not bad not great. A fun listen.
