Avengers: Endgame - April 26, 2019*

Pennies for the 500.

 

When I was a kid, I had hundreds of comix. Than a friend moved and left me his collection. My problem was they were everywhere, my Dad was always on me about picking up after myself but.....one weekend my folks left us with my grandparents and when I came home my comix were gone! My old man threw them all away! Imagine....the 1st issues of ALL the Marvels, silver age DC Supes and Bats and SO much more! The worst part was he dumped them into a garbage can outside the house, the whole neighborhood got free comix that weekend!

 

Basically throwing money, memories and enjoyment right into the trash can. I'll never understand it.

 

The only good thing was back than, the books were 10-12 cents apiece so I had a huge collection again in no time! But I never thought to replace all the #1's! What a dope!

 

Dang. I was hoping it was the Avengers with a saucy new Emma Peel.

 

Jeez. She's 34. That's not old!

 

Yeah ..the other poster thought she looked older than her age. Just a honest observation.

 

I don't think she's ever looked older than she is. If anything, younger.

 

Captain Marvell was a solid B+ and very entertaining. And the stinger was actually a scene from Endgame!!!!

 

I wish I could say I'm unhappy about that minor spoiler, but I'm not they've done that trick once before, with the scene from Civil War used as a post-credits.

Great trailer and poster! I really love how they are focusing the marketing on tying together this entire 11 year history of films. It's gonna be both epic and emotional. Clint's kids 100% got ashed, as did Scott's daughter. That's pretty heartbreaking stuff. The inevitable reunions are gonna make me cry, I already know it.

Their matching Avengers outfits at the end are cute.

 

I think those may be Quantum Realm suits.

Also, no Hulk in the poster, only Bruce. You just know that the green guy is bound to show up.

Well he did start it all 11 years ago and this may just be his last MCU film and his head is smaller than Thanos.

 

Is the Black Widow holding cattle prods? And why are Thor & Okoye looking the other direction?

 

Notice how Banner is missing from the shots where they're all walking together in those new "suits"? I have a feeling that Professor Hulk will be part of this gang but was left out to avoid a spoiler.

 

Noticed. They're leaving the Hulk out of it for a reason, definitely.
