But that will never happen : it's become the Ralfwerk show. A great show. But very different from what they were. I saw the 1992 line up with Florian, and Fritz playing live drums, before they moved to the laptop setup, and it was mindblowingly good.

I don't really want bands to reunite. But sometimes a miracle happens and they turn out to be as good as Television were in 1992.

The Three Friends tours were probably the closest we'll ever get to a Gentle Giant reunion. They were quite good the two times I saw them.

Everyone has bills to pay including musicians. I dont begrudge anyone the opportunity for a final payday. We all would do the same thing if we had the chance. And most fans enjoy a walk down memory lane, too. Its just entertainment.

Did you see that this happened just a few weeks ago? (I've seen surprisingly very little mention of it anywhere....). Hopefully they did this for some sort of as-yet-unknown reason!

I think Bill hinted he was ready to come back for the whole tour, but they blocked it. As far as Mick T goes, I’m sure he’d have jumped at the chance of reuniting or at least making a record.

Edwyn can't play guitar and would have to relearn all the songs from scratch since memory loss from that period is part of his health issues.

Not sure one of the guys from Supertramp is healthy enough to tour anymore.

Burning Tree were a power trio that released one album in 1990. It took over my world that summer. Then the Black Crowes stole their guitarist and the flame was extinguished on Burning Tree.

Glad you liked the other suggestions and can understand if Marillion don't hit the spot.

Not gonna happen though since Jesse Michaels said it wouldn't make sense to play in auditoriums and venues with more than 100 people due to their success past-breakup. Besides Tim and Matt make enough money playing watered down punk rock in Rancid.
