Never stop looking in record bins, no matter what they look like, no matter where they are.

Oh yeah Sckott - the REASON I stop for garage sales is the records.

I leave those oriental lamps and ornate front doors to "Susie's territory" (the wife). I am looking for - and often finding - gold, for a buck.

    Hi Paul,

Great post! Collectors tend to get excited when they have something that was produced in limited production (i.e. 5k-25k runs). Acetates are a whole new ballgame cause there was no production and the number of people w/ them is much more limited (sometimes only a handful in the world). It appears (thus becomes) even more rare when the few people w/ copies won't admit publicly that they have them. Gotta appreciate why those fortunate ones wouldn't publicly admit they have copies b/c if they did what are the odds they would ever see another one?

    The Music Never Stops,
    Jeffrey
