    So.
In case you can't tell, I'm a Beatles fan, and I suspect I'm not the only one around these parts.

I'm also not convinced that the Beatles (as a group, 1962-1970) have ever done anything truly "bad".

Yes, I skip tracks from time to time, and I can't remember the last time I've ever listened to "Good Night". Tastes vary wildly from person to person, but I have always felt that out of all the catalog (we're talking original British LP tracks here, Please Please Me to Let It Be and the Past Masters tracks), there was ever any truly bad :thumbsdn: music. I'm convinced that every bit of it is either good or great. :righton:

Am I simply not discerning enough of a listener, :help: or am I just completely Beatlemaniac crazy? :goodie:

I think "Hold Me Tight" is pretty awful, and I'm quite the fan(atic).

    i love this one

i think what goes on might be the worst original

    still not bad

yes the beatles had mediocre material

but this was offset by an avalanche of some of the greatest and most creative music ever created all in a very short period

You know, I thought that "Hold Me Tight" was the one track that The Smithereens actually did better than the original on their recent tribute album.

I'd say "Revolution 9" and "What's The New Mary Jane" qualify as pretty bad, though. Maybe they were more lapses in judgement than bad songs...

    I'm with you.
There is nothing essentially bad for me.
Like others, some I skip from time to time. A lot of times i become reawakened to them at one point, because I have skipped them too many times through the years.
One that comes to mind is "Let It Be"

I think Mr Moonlight would be more liked had they kept in the original solo you can find in the Barrett files. So cool and so bad, so real!

Beatles For Sale is a preety weak album. Except for two or three cuts, is just a bunch of leftovers.

I dont think the Beatles were the best cover band around. In most cases, I dont think they improved on the originals.

Let it Be and the White Albums have their very weak moments (Maggie May, Rocky Raccon, Dont pass me by)

"You Know My Name (Look Up My Number)" is not "good or great," it is terrible. I much prefer "Revolution #9," art usually wins over nonsense.

"Mr. Moonlight," "Dizzy Miss Lizzie," "All You Need Is Love," "Flying," "Wild Honey Pie," "Don't Pass Me By," and large chunks of Let It Be and Abbey Road are all substandard, to say the least.

"I've Got a Feeling," "Dig It," "Maggie May," "One After 909" (not really such a bad song, but a terrible performance on this album), "Come Together," "Maxwell's Silver Hammer," "Octopus's Garden," "Oh! Darling," and most of side two of Abbey Road.

There are a few I could do without, but I can NOT stomach "Mr. Moonlight".
