It was 'Creed' where Rocky, having completed treatment for cancer, manages (slowly) to get up those same steps to the exact same point where he finishes the training montage in the first film.

"This is a shot so well-known that it's practically a lifestyle. Taken from the opening of the film, with call girl Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) breakfasting at the Tiffany's window, this serene looking scene was actually quite difficult to get. Not only did Hepburn hate Danishes, but she was surrounded by a crowd of gawkers who kept making her nervous. And yet here it is on every student wall ever."

Lousy movie, but an iconic image from Hammer Film's "Lust For A Vampire."

Great picture of an iconic movie. A bit off topic but this may be one of the most perfectly cast movies I've ever come across. You can have your conjectures on Godfather l and ll but this movie? Is there really anyone else you would put in that frame?

The mighty wave from "The Abyss". This was awesome to me when I first saw it. I wonder
how good it will look on Blu-Ray or 4K (hint, hint, hint!.

Are you talking about James Cameron's 1989 film The Abyss starring Ed Harris? Because I don't remember any scene like this in that film.

Ha! I'd never noticed that 'Birds of Love .... A Non-stop Orgy' poster on the wall right next to him.....

It's from the extended, alternate ending of "The Abyss". The undersea "aliens" can control water and create huge
tidal waves, which they then cause to stop, and recede.
Here's the entire 10 minute alternate ending.

Thanks for posting the clip. Never seen that before. I can see why Cameron opted not to use it - pretty cheesy and heavy handed.
