It took 10 pages before anybody mentioned the very obvious in Wolfmother
& I can't believe that nobody has mentioned Gov't Mule who were put together by Warren Haynes & Allen Woody to resurrect the power trio.

No neither of these 2 bands are stoner bands but they are very much 7o's retro rock.

The Black Crowes may not be a stoner band but Chris Robinson sure comes across as a stoner to me.

The type of music being covered in this thread is right up my alley. I will have to check out the bands mentioned to supplement my discovery of bands from this era that are being uncovered by the reissue market. This stuff is easier to find now than when it was released in the early 70's.

Thermate - their latest: Black Desert Highway. Released March 31 2017.

Just discovered this Finnish band on bandcamp.com. As aptly described on 666MrDoom's YouTube upload "Thermate is a five piece rock band formed in Kuopio, Finland in 2012. Thermate's music is heavily influenced by the 70's heavy metal/rock and the 90's stoner rock." Perfect description I think. Beautiful creamy fuzz laden sound.
