I really think this should be the last season. I dont think I want to see more than one season of a full blown Saul crapping on everything and everyone.

Oh I'll take one more after this. I can't wait to see how this ends. Well, I guess I can wait.

    Dark times ahead.

I'd be lying if I said I was excited about this starting back up again, but I am invested and in it for the duration, so there you have it.

  8. Me? This is my most anticipated show of the year.

I got the 4th season on blu ray for my birthday in November, but like every year I'll binge the last season to prep me for the next.

So, who wants to see the scoundrel, Saul Goodman? Me. That's who. But only in the natural progression of things, which appears that's what they're doing. :)

    I'm stoked!

As I remember it, Howard was circling the drain toward the end of last season - I hope we see more of that storyline.

Yeah if I remember correctly Jimmy meets him in the bathroom of the courthouse and he says he's not sleeping. Probably he feels guilty over the death of Chuck. But Jimmy let's him go right on thinking he was responsible!

I don't remember what Howard did that should PO people so much. As I recall, his holding back Jimmy had all sorts of extenuating circumstances that made it seem a reasonable action. Yeah Jimmy is POd because he didn't like being held back. Howard seems like a guy now with true feelings and trying to make things right. However, I may be forgetting some blatantly evil things he has done.

Great to see this guy back! One of my favorite (very) minor characters.

Does every scene he's in involve courthouse vending machine food?

Like a game show where contestants eat as much old vending machine food as they can before getting sick.

I think a great spinoff series would be about that 3-person UNM student film team. I love the scenes they are in. Very comical bunch.

I do think that Bill Oakley (Deputy District Attorney) is important as far as Jimmy goes. He represents the slow, albeit ethical, career path whose main reward seems to be an occasional hot meal. Jimmy is clearly scouting all the short cuts to get to his destination.

CAn't blame Jimmy too much - this guy and his life look pretty dang miserable. Didn't Jimmy basically bribe him with some french fries once?

He seemed to be a little more his old self though at the very end of the season.

And now it looks like next year will be the last for Better Call Saul...

AMC will bring Better Call Saul to a close with a 13-episode sixth and final season in 2021. Season five of the Breaking Bad prequel from Sony Pictures TV is set to premiere Feb. 23.

'Better Call Saul' Ending With Season 6 on AMC

    Says showrunner Peter Gould:

"From the beginning when we started this, I think all our hopes and dreams were to be able to tell the whole story ... and make it to be a complete story from beginning to end," showrunner Peter Gould revealed Thursday during the show's panel at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour. "We're going to try like hell to stick the landing of these 63 episodes."
