This is a compilation of them touring from 1993-1998:

Later this month Cherry Red will issue We’re Not In Kansas, a five-CD box set that collects Big Country live performances from the 1990s.

These five live shows are released officially for the first time in this ‘Live Bootleg Box’ as the band went on the road to promote 1993’s The Buffalo Skinners and Why The Long Face from 1995.

Think I'll wait for some reviews first.

I bought Come Up Screaming recently and I've got the 2cd BBC set on order. But what I'd be most interested in is finding the 2cd version of Without A Safety Net at a decent price.

Pre-ordered through Amazon. $30 with free shipping = no brainer!

With three Don’t Fear the Reapers, I’m gonna have to do a big ol’ wait and see. This was hardly their peak anyway.

Agree, but a) it's cheap, b) I'm a BC completist, and c) if this sells, it might encourage more archival releases.

And did I mention that it's cheap? :shh:

It’s certainly possible there’s some good performances here, but as prog alluded to fidelity could be an issue.

    Where’s @Jerryb on this? :D

I've been looking everywhere to see if I could find a sample from this set and I haven't had any luck.

I love these guys, I own a lot of their hard to find stuff. Might as well add this just in case it becomes scarce down the road.

I think I'm up to around 70 BC cds. That doesn't include several dvds and some vinyl. It's an obsession. And I have all the Skids stuff.

For my part, I suppose that I am tacitly interested in this set....but for the money I'd rather have a 5.1 Blu-ray of The Crossing.....

One reason i read this forum is i learn things. In this case, i had no idea that Big Country released records or toured after around 1985, much less did so for a big swath of time a decade and more after that.

Yes, that BBC box for one went out of print almost as soon as it was released...

It’s hard to imagine there’s too much more in the vaults after all those rarities discs.

BC and BC related. Mostly BC though.

I guess you'd be the guy to ask if they've ever released a show that included "Tall Ships Go" off the Steeltown album.

I'd highly recommend the "Final Fling" live cd/dvd taken from their last show together with Stuart Adamson. Stellar performance and a lot of cuts off their first few albums that they didn't play much in their last decade together.
