Black Crowes- Lost Crowes coming on colored vinyl June 7th

My Bull Moose order just changed to 'Item Packaged'. Placed my order on 5/2.

 

Yep, I got my BTF from them, too

 

Man, this almost snuck right past me!

 

With zero quality control so far on the packaging and presentation alone, you may no be missing much.

 

Yay, I just got the "item packaged" at BM as well!
Not in a hurry for it, but glad that I'll be getting it for sure.
Sucks that they got short-changed - basically what it means to be a Black Crowes fan - always short-changed.

 

Below zero I’ll say. That “Eight Grinnin” is the funniest thing I’ve seen in an official release.

So far we have: wrong cover, wrong spine, wrong labels, wrong vinyl order, two wrong song titles.

 

Not to mention, this set includes the later version of Thunderstorm 6:54..... 5 minutes later to be exact. haha

 

You just know that someone here will post one soon in the "[For Sale] Vinyl" Classified section of this Forum...so keep your eyes peeled!

 

I listened to my CD again yesterday and I really like some of the songs on this. I am still on the fence in regards to buying the vinyl, but would think it might be better to grab the copy on hold at my local shop, leave it sealed until I decide, and would think if I do not want it, I could at least get my money back, it is $48...

 

Just got mine from Bull Moose, #970. Man, it sounds great with some grandaddy purple.

Pressings are top notch, quiet, no noise at all. That Ed ending on Descending is so sublime.

 

Ha! Like the way you think...just got back home with my copy from my local shop, #60. I have me some Gruntz to along on the spin later...awesome pictures! This baby looks very cool, what were some complaining about...always happy to support local music!

My Bullmoose order still says “order received.” I placed my order on 5/2, really hoping this works out.

 

Was a little late to the party. Only saw this a week before release, but placed three orders hoping to come up with one. So far 2/3 (Red Yeti and Acoustic Sound) have let me down. Still holding hope for Zia records but not optimistic. Unfortunately none of my local shops got any.

 

Black Crowes releases are savage these days.

 

So want have you heard from Acoustic Sounds? Anything definitive? I placed an order there too but haven’t called to check. They fairly often can’t deliver on something this limited even though they take many orders.

 

Yeah, when they're quality pressings/masterings like this and BTF, but if you want crap pressings with so so mastering, like on Southern Harmony, those are readily available!
