The good news is it's crazy cheap no matter where you get.

I went amazonuk @ $115ish.

Be interesting to see what local retailers sell it for in November.

Buy 2! Encourage Sony to continue this series at this price point.

I just placed my order with Amazon UK:
Currently 90.46GBP = 117.78USD

For 36 discs. that's $3.28 each.

 

Is the $117.78 price what Amazon UK is charging you or did you get charged 90.46GBP and you figured the conversion?

Usually Amazon UK won't convert to $ on a pre-order. Just wondering, I ordered and couldn't get the cost to covert to $.

I have had some very bad packaging from Amazon UK shipping to US but it is:

I think this set may get down to the $90-$100 range at some point (importcds?) and then move back towards full list price, but I hope they make a lot of them -- the demand for BS V.10, Another Self Portrait, took Sony by surprise, and it was on backorder for a little while.

 

A lot of times they ship USPS Priority. I usually receive my stuff from them within just a couple of days after shipping.

 

The packages I received from Amazon UK were usually packed better than ones I got from Amazon US. Until this year when I ordered the Stones Stripped Deluxe set from the UK. When it arrived I couldn't even identify it as a package waiting outside my door. The only "padding" in the box was a sheet of folded packing paper placed on top of the hardbound set. The box was totally crushed, obviously run over by something and had three large holes torn in it. I didn't even have to open the package because I could pull out the set through one of the holes. Amazingly, none of the discs were damaged, only the hardbound book was slightly bowed from being run over. So Amazon UK might skimp on packaging for items like box sets.

 

I calculated the conversion to USD myself.
However, I'll probably cancel it and go with Bullmoose...

 

I've ordered the box from Amazon UK as it does look amazing value, with the superb Pennebaker shots illuminating the CD covers. However, if anyone notices there is a high res download available at any point, please let me know!

Yep, I too ordered from Bull Moose here in the States... best price yet + FREE Shp!
Had never heard of them till today... had problems with AmazonUK packing when they
put my Lewisohn "Tune In" boxed book set...in shipping box with no padding at all.
The books box cover was quite dented on corners.

GO BOB! GOOOAL!

 

AmazonUK have now taken down any price reference.Their form is they will probably put it back up at the highest price on the market.For those of us outside US who Bull Moose refuses to do business with keep checking the price widget on Super Deluxe Edition to see where the best price is for retailers who will ship internationally

 

It's done. I even sprang for expedited shipping, at five bucks extra. I'm pouring myself a drink now.

 

I'm pouring one for alla y'all. I'm normally an Amazon Prime snob (joined in 2005 -- SEE? A SNOB), but this saved me about half the cost of next year's Prime membership. At that price, more than happy to pay the shipping too.
