    Great stuff.
Dylan played that song with The Band in the famous Woodstock basement at around the same time (it’s on the ”The Basement Tapes Complete” box set).

Sorry to hear this. Got his first album back in the 1970s.

R.I.P. Mr Neuwirth. Got to see Bob as part of the Down from the Mountain concerts in the early 2000s. Bob was a co-conspirator with so many greats during his time.

Obituary from American Songwriter Magazine: Folk Singer/Songwriter Bob Neuwirth Dies at 82

I first got to know Bob Neuwirth with his 1996 album "Look Up".
Following this, I worked my way backwards in his catalog, and the 1988 album "Back to the Front" and his debut from 1974 were of course wonderful discoveries.

I also very much enjoyed Bob Neuwirth's contribution to the 2004 Alejandro Escovedo tribute album "Por Vida - A Tribute to the Songs of Alejandro Escovedo". He had already worked with Alejandro Escovedo on his 1993 album "Thirteen Years".
The track was produced by J. Steven Soles, who was also responsible for "Back to the Front" in the producer's seat. So the circle closes again.

    R.I.P., Bob Neuwirth.
