I don't think suicide would count as foul play. With the most famous suicides of comedians I can remember, Robin Williams and Ray Combs, they had clearly experienced recent setbacks in their lives. So far there's no indication of that with Bob Saget. His young age and the fact it happened in a hotel room are the two factors that suggest it. I think with John Ritter, Alan Thicke and the recent non-fatal heart incident with Bob Odenkirk, the incidents all happened while they were out and active around other people. But a heart attack is certainly random enough it could happen anywhere.

Any friend of Norm MacDonald is a friend of mine.

Little known fact Bob was the opening act once long ago for Max Webster

So sad to see Saget go. He had been doing a wonderful podcast on youtube, interviewing many great comedians and also taking calls from fans during the pandemic. He had a huge heart and an even bigger funny bone.

Strange that Kirk Cameron lost his sitcom dad from Growing Pains Alan Thicke at age 69 and now his sister Candace lost hers from Full House at age 65.

It's a terrible tragedy no matter what.

I will say he looked like he had put on quite a bit of weight and seemed bloated. He just did a 2 hour show, so without knowing any other details pertaining to his health you have to figure that the energy and fitness required for something like that, plus the stress it induces, is a lot.

Ugh, this reminds me of when we suddenly lost another legend in his field, David Bowie: on January 10th, also in his late 60s. can't believe that one has been 6 years already.

Of course he had been very sick for awhile but that was hidden from most of us.

How much would you pay to sit at that table? That's a lot of funny right there. RIP Bob and Norm.

    Rest easy, Bob.

That is the big question; and, one that should be asked....at least in a healthy culture. I applaud you, vince.

It really was the first thing I thought of today, because it brings his other side to people who never experienced the challenge of the joke, or the whole bravery of comedy. And to see so many people testifying in his departure to his character and warmth for people, takes the sting away a bit. People who only knew him for television work owe it to themselves to savor this movie. Just...perhaps not today.

Rest In Peace, Bob. You nailed it.

Bob Saget said he was 'loving every minute of being back on stage' in haunting final Instagram post | Daily Mail Online

Daily mail saying a month ago on his podcast was boosted and a TMZ story said he mentioned 2 weeks ago on podcast that he had a recent Covid bout.

His 65 year old body had quite a roller coaster ride in the past month.

Bob Saget Talked Recent COVID Struggle on Podcast Just Last Week

Found 4pm in Orlando the day after a show and same day he had a show 2 hours drive away in Ponte Vedra. House cleaning or various managers/venue staff phone tag?
