Body Count "Carnivore" March 10, 2020

Just a heads up that the Body Count album came out yesterday. I am listening to it now, and so far so good! If you are a fan, you should pick this up!

It's a brutal assault (in a good way) on the ears. Love it. When I'm Gone is a great song.

 

I prefer the album before.

It is a very good version, too!

 

They covered Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" on this one, and it is solid as well!

 

Century Media is really annoying. They stopped selling the new albums on 7digital and removed almost the entire back catalogue. Their releases were a good price, only $10.99 CAN for FLAC. They switched to HD Tracks which is $17.99 US which converts to $20 CAN with the exchange rate and using their ongoing 20% off coupon. And they don’t even have Carnivore. It takes Amazon.ca over a month to get the CDs and they price them at $20-25.

 

Have you tried Qobuz? They have the 16/44.1 of the new album for $8.99 in the U.S.

 

Still no Qobuz in Canada.

 

I love this album. This has to be the BC album with the most songs having a heavy breakdown or part where Ice-T goes off on A verse with violent hardcore lyrics lol. Awesome stuff.

I love this track from 2014’s Manslaughter. Love the breakdown part at the end.

 

Bloodlust is my favourite but this new one is great. Sucks that the timing of it coincided with the virus. Tour cancelled.
