That would be a good assumption. :)

It almost put me off buying the album.

On some episode of ' Pawn Stars ' Rick Harrison bought a replica of whatever-the-hell that object was on the album cover. I think it was a limited series or something or other. In any event he paid a lot of money for it.

    Terrible album cover.
They should have used the picture of the actual goat's head soup that was on the enclosed poster.
That would have been a great cover !

I've never minded the Presence album cover, some of the outtakes in the deluxe edition would have made some good album covers too.

Maybe this album should have been titled Deja Vous?

Birth Control's brilliant 'Operation.' The German release was a gatefold with a baby-eating creature on the front and a trail of dead mothers who've had abortions on the back. The inside of the gatefold had a drawing of the four band members as part of the creature/machine, each eating a baby. The UK cover was pretty tasteless too (an early Hipgnosis effort).

When this album came out, no one had done a cover like this. And maybe not since.

And so it is...but my favourite Who album cover and one of the greatest album covers of all is' Quadrophenia '.
And the icing on the cake with that one is the Who members pictures in the motorcycle mirrors. Great !
