I had very low expectations and even then I was stunned at how bad this was...or at least the first 4-5 minutes I watched! It stars Mayim Bialik as a woman who opens a cat café. She was barely tolerable on "The Big Bang Theory" (incidentally, Jim Parsons is one of the producers), but her acting in a leading role is terrible. Add to that constant breaking of the 4th wall, appallingly bad writing and acting, and well, ladies and gentlemen, we have one horrid show.

I’ve said it many, many times before & I have the knowledge to back up my claim because I worked there, but the FOX broadcasting network caters to the lowest common human denominator.

I only gave it a (brief) chance because I love cats! Even they were disappointing.

It's set (although not filmed) in Louisville and the local chatter there has been brutal.

I don't have cable, but heard about this and was interested. I love cats, and a cat cafe' is a funny thing to me. Mayim is cute and likeable (imo), and I was happy to see her with a style different from that awful one she had to use on BBT. Haven't seen this yet, but I hope its better than people here are saying. I wouldn't abandon a sitcom on the pilot episode alone.

  9. My mother is a big fan of Bialik and the short southern gentleman and she told me it's one and done for her. She thought it was terrible. Me, too.

The ads didn't draw me in, and the premise doesn't draw me in. The reviews here lead me to believe my instincts were good here.

Now, if they gave Crazy Cat Lady from The Simpsons her own show...

In a world where you can't have Apu, though, I'm surprised crazy women who love cats aren't also a third rail.

I remember thinking after watching the first episode how surprised I was that she thought this was a good script. But I’m sure people also liked it a lot.

Wife and daughter watched it while I was in the room. I didn't pay real close attention to it, but based on what I saw and heard it was terrible. This was the first and only time I will be in the room if they watch it again.

It is the American version. My step daughter watches Miranda and says it’s pretty much a carbon copy.

Sorry to read this was canceled. I enjoyed the show and thought it got better as it progressed and the cast interactions were fantastic.

I am sure it was hard for them to regroup after Leslie Jordan's untimely death...
