FFS, it better receive a wide non-RSD release.

Yep! Official RSD list launches today. I think it’s a complete show from Knoxville, TN. Not sure the year, though.

CRB and Jason Isbell are the must haves for me. Everything else on my want list is just gravy

I'm not going to fight the crowds only to be disappointed once again. I know this isn't the place, but RSD serves no purpose for me. It's great for people with connections, killer luck and lots of time, or eBay flippers. Otherwise pretty obnoxious. But that's a rant for another thread/time.

I hope we actually do get a wide release Betty's Blend Vol. 4 soon though.

CRB is recording everything digital anyway. So I don't really see the point. Imho of course

I'll make a half hearted effort to get it but I have my doubts. I only collect live stuff from CRB so Im trying to keep it as complete as possible.

Not me. As I’m in the UK, there’s no chance unless I pay through the nose.

Good question. I guess I was thinking about the studio recordings, which has been confirmed to be digital.

It would surprised me if Betty is recording live CRB on analog while the band themself is recording to digital in the studio

And...I also buy digital sourced LPs from time to time, but not very often nowadays. To expensive and not enough quality control.

I'm seeing them live on Saturday

That is pricey enough to make me feel a LOT better about not getting one!

Why the change to "Raven's Reels"? Is it because it is a complete show?

I am afraid it might mean that this is not sourced from one of Betty’s recordings...

Looking at the downloads for the most recent tour (which this show is from), they are all Raven's Reels.

Betty does her CRB recordings the same way she did Garcia's and the Dead's back in the day - headphones, sub-out lines from SBD>8 channel mixer>1/4" 2 track stereo.

    That's part of the appeal.

The Ravens Reel's RSD thing is cool for people with the scratch...but man, I'm broke and won't be lining up for RSD anyway so...
