I actually haven't seen that one. With all of the airings of the 'Die Hard' films I've been noticing on cable lately, I have no real reason.
Hi! I'm Trying to find an Xmas film that I can't remember the name of me and my partner watched it and lived it! The storyline is along these lines.. There's a dad who is seeing a new woman after the kids mum died.. The mum used to sing a song every Christmas at their party which she always used to organise, now the daughter is taking over the party organising and singing, the daughter also falls in love with someone from her high-school and one thing I can remember at the end is they are dancing together in a barn type place all decorated up. Please help if anyone knows this movie. We can't remember if it's a hallmark movie or not but I've tried searching so much for it and can't seem to find it.
While going thru the program guide the other day, I noticed that one of the Hallmark Channels is showing Christmas movies already, and it's not even 'Christmas in July' time yet... Close, but at least a week early, unless they were showing them even before that...
In 2020 during the early months of the pandemic, Hallmark started showing Christmas movies all year long, at least a couple each week. They never stopped. But they definitely are showing more and more as it gets closer to July. I think they might go full Christmas through that month.

I think it's time to ask, who has done the most damage to the Christmas movie: Hallmark, Lifetime, or just everybody who ever tried to re-frame It's A Wonderful Life as their own pet ripoff project. And what is the most egregious sin of the Christmas movie: co-opting the holiday as a lite romance fantasy, shoehorning a wedding into the holiday, or restricting the holiday to only well-to-do people of one sector of society. (I dare any U.S. cable network to promote their own original Bollywood Christmas film!)
