Earlier this year, Classic Records announced the March 2003 release of its 2 LP set of the first Procol Harum album, mastered from the original British mono tapes. It has repeatedly been delayed. Earlier this month, the Classic web site listed it as "now available,' but the site now says that it's "coming soon." Anyone know what the deal here is? This doesn't look good. Too bad- great album.
Hi Bill, I'm putting this in the same category as Hendrix's first mono LP which was supposed to be released in February and hasn't been released yet. Who knows? I wish they wouldn't advertise releases until they have them nailed down or if they're delayed give a better explanation. I have the Procol on pre-order. mud-
