I’ve been on the hunt for a record cleaning system for some time. The commercial ultrasonic record cleaning systems I researched either seemed overpriced or poorly reviewed. Enter the CleanerVinyl system. This 3D printed contraption sits on top of a number of ultrasonic cleaners, ranging from affordable 40hz units to feature rich multi frequency ones. I picked up the Easy 6 with a 1 micron filter and the Elmasonic EP60H, which operates at 37hz and 80hz. so far I’ve cleaned about 50 records and I must say I am impressed with the result! While it isn’t a one button experience, it is mostly hassle free and yields superbly cleaned records that sound dead silent. I highly recommend this system for this in the market for an alternative to hummingguru, degritter, KLAudio, etc.
