I've never really liked "Lonesome Town", but it's always great to hear something that positive came out of a spate of bad luck!
I found that box recently......great package....it reminds me of the big 12' buddy Holly l.p. set which I also found in the English Decca version.the Eddie box is a c d. Set....great big booklet....love it!

A lot of good ones! Seriously, you need the Bear Family Box set to get a sense of that. Not only did he have his own career, he did many guitar playing sessions for others too.
What surprises me about Eddie Cochran is how little you hear about it him compared to Elvis, Buddy Holly, and even Bill Haley. He really was that big of a star until his sudden death!

Does anyone own The "Story" box set? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Eddie-Coch...01JT2IS6C/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 It is extremely cheap for a 4 CD set chock full of stuff. I've read complaints about it missing the song "Lonely". Since the song "Dark Lonely Street" seems to be included twice (disc 1, track 20, Disc 2, track 2) I was wondering if one of the 2 is the actual "Lonely" song misprinted in the artwork? Or is "Dark Lonely Street" included twice in the set? Thanks in advance, I will decide my purchase based on this.
