The Craft One Steps appear to be 33s, not 45. So it's not a 2xLP format.

There's a $22 Lush Life on the Craft homepage which can be ordered immediately below the description for their 1-Step.

You're better off grabbing the 80s OJC for cheapish off discogs or eBay than getting the cheap digital budget pressing.

That's an old link/pressing. The small batch site is now up but the listing for the one step isn't up yet. They are using that version as a placeholder for now it seems.

I'm not seeing that at all on their front page, at least viewing through my mobile browser. Can you post a link?

do NOT buy this version though. the $21.99 seems to just be a placeholder from a previous pressing they did. the site isn't "officially" announced/up yet.

I mean...you'd be surprised...I've already seen people ordering it or questioning how good the deal was on it so I'm just trying to be very transparent and obvious here

I'm hoping it's $99. I'm getting tired of the $125+ trend. It's cool to have some really specialized pressings but $99 is a sweet spot, especially for a 1 LP boutique release.

if its $125 we are all screwed because then AP and MOFI will take note and bump their 2lp 45 prices to $150

This is where I pull out unless it's one of my top 10 albums ever. I only only the BOTT One-Step so I guess I'm not really that target audience for the most part.

Lush Life? Beautiful recording. But here we go again.

Glad its being done for those who dont have any audiophile version. But many of us have this on the dcc, the AP etc. I wish they would be the company that would be more adventurous.

Barber (sorry I find her stuff boring as hell. Elevator music.) and more Coltrane?

Come on, do something in jazz that other companies havent.

im new to this game but it only looks like its happened in audiophile form 3 times between the 2 APs and DCC. Could be way worse and getting this for the 4th time in the last 5 or 10 years

I hear that!!! But with that said, all I have is the SACD of LL, so I'm all over this release. But heck yes, start bringing us some gems that have not gotten any audiophile treatment on. I'd be going after stuff like that much faster.

One title I would like to see them do, even though I hope to see mostly Jazz is "Hot Buttered Soul". The version they did of this a couple years back, did not impress me much and this is such an awesome record.

Honestly, these are probably good enough unless you are just the deeper of collector and listener of a certain title. I always forget to go back and search for some of these DCC, Classic, etc. because I assume they $$$. Thanks for the post.

Sure. Im happy for those who dont have this in any form. Its a cool looking item and probably will sound great. Im tempted to get one because the packaging looks pretty damn cool. And it may indeed even sound better than anything weve heard.

And I understand the scarey risks it is for a company to stretch out and be different. So many factors/limitations that go into what can be done. I just wish some company could be the one.
