Crawl.................. My new favorite Alligator movie.

I saw this with my wife on our movie of the week date. I have no interest in Super Villains and and such. I'm getting saturated with summer blockbusters so we went for a quickie afternoon movie. It's called, "Crawl". My
wife jumped a few times during the movie but she said she had fun. It's an old style b movie that is fun to watch.
Has some good scares, Alligators look evil and hungry. Some bloody scenes. I had fun, I wasn't bored.

 

I will catch this one at home later in the year. I like these type of movies.

 

What was your OLD 'favorite alligator movie'?

"Lake Placid" - I like Betty White, Bill Pullman, Oliver Platt, and Brendan Gleeson


I know LP is about a Crocodile which for sake of argument I include in Alligator movies.

 

I hope this will be a fun movie as I what thinking about seeing it. The scene that I think inspired it was from the film "Annihilation" where they encounter an alligator.

 

my wife just told me about this today...seems interesting.

 

I wanted to enjoy it but thought it was tiresome and boring. Not much real tension and just kinda meh!

 

Too bad. I like the premise.

I guess this is a movie for folks that like sharks, alligators, snakes, and other critters as the antagonist in these movies.
It's not a HORROR movie but it has some real scares and action. I think this movie is better than some other movies
released in the past few years with similar scenarios.
