From Marc Roberty's Book: Unreleased from the sessions Tender Love (Alternate Take) Tender Love (Key of A) Key of D Jam And several basic tracks from songs, if they were recorded...
That's the thing, I don't think there's much more in the can. With The Beatles, the session tapes are almost always complete, as they were recorded. My understanding is the LAOALS session tapes are comp reels with just the master takes, along with the outtakes as heard on the 20th box. I haven't cross referenced everything yet, but it seems possible the 3 songs listed remain unreleased. As above, however, I think the amount of unreleased material is minimal, and I'm not sure how much of that is releasable.
Other than the RAH show, which is pretty much for historical purposes, the new box is way better sounding than the boot. I have both. No comparison.
I also have both. They are extremely similar. The official release is slightly louder. I doubt most people could tell the difference between them once level matched. People should buy the official release, but it simply isn't true to suggest there's a huge difference from the boot.
Is it really on the 2014 edition. Discogs does not list bonus tracks for this one. It is there on the 2013 edition. God why do they have so many! The bonus track clocks at 6:56, whereas the single (which I don't have) is listed at 6:44. Are these really the same versions?
