wHAT A COOL IDEA FOR pAUL'S TEAM. cAPS LOCK REVERSED, OH WELL. Fixed. Paul says, "Each month we will highlight a selection of deep cuts along with a few classics. For January, we're focusing on new beginnings..." I assume next month will be love songs... and so on. Great use of Spotify's capabilities. This month's playlist is: Out Of My Back Pocket By Paul McCartney New Coming Up Every Night One Of These Days Ever Present Past Looking For Changes Ram On Great Day Do It Now Sing The Changes
Yes, but how many months do you really think they will keep this up? I'm guessing we get February and March, maybe a summer playlist and that's about it, but one a month would be awesome. These would be really awesome if they were actually constructed by Paul, but I'm guessing its someone on team Paul putting it together...still pretty cool.
Remember that Pure McCartney was presented as a "travelling playlist", so you're probably right, that someone on team Paul is playlist-happy. Now this person will stop bothering everyone else on the team, so they can work on more Archives. Every time they try to get to work, they take a break to hear the latest playlist.
Caught the first show with Stanley Tucci. It was actually very good. Mary is quite funny and a good host.
Given that the new remaster is (likely) just a remaster of the brickwalled digital files for the original CD, you're not missing too much.
Does this video mean we now have a remaster of this '80s version? The film itself has clearly been remastered and looks great. Also, can someone please tell me which year the instruments were recorded and the song mixed? The vocals are the original '70s vocals, for sure.
Right now just a rumor. Several unofficial Lady Gaga's accounts are talking about the 2016 collaboration with Paul. For example: Gaga Weekly on Twitter: "Looks like Lady Gaga & Paul McCartney’s original music for “High In The Clouds” Netflix animated film could be releasing soon!"
Yes, but if they think the music is pretty good, then they may not want to wait for the two years. Maybe just release a deluxe version in two years.
Paris Jackson on Instagram (Jan 16, 2020): "This has got to be one of my all time favorite photographs.. stolen from a fellow beatle maniac"
Paul Saltzman (who took the photograph) said John and Paul were playing ‘Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da’ when he took this photograph.
A great interview with Mary McCartney... Mary McCartney - Alain Elkann Interviews "You made a documentary called Wingspan. What is it? I did it with my ex-husband. Before my mum passed away, my mum and dad asked us to do a documentary on Wings and that part of their lives. I worked on that with Dad and interviewed him, but unfortunately Mum passed away before we really got started, so she wasn’t part of that process." Podcast:
