It sounds like something he could have done with Linda. Doesn't it remind you of Oriental Nightfish?

Just saw on the inner sleeve of the new "McCartney" RSD reissue, it reads, "this half-speed master closely references the 2011 remaster by Steve Rooke and Guy Massey". This makes me wonder how much better it will really sound than that version.

    LOL!

Sorry, I’m not counting the Halo.

Just the 3 little lights bottom right. They kind of look like those three little dots on the back of Abbey Road.

'Hey, Rick, can you play the piano part, but, you know, do your twiddly bits so it sounds like Elton's sneaked in? We've got a great out of tune vocal as well, so I have really high hopes for this!'

McCartney II is my favorite Paul solo album. So yeah, consider me hyped. Part of me wants to see what he could cook up in pro tools all on his own... but another part of me wants to see him thread up the Studer and DIY a record the classic way all over again! Will be interesting to see which direction this goes. Hopefully we get quirky experimental Paul again.

I got the McCartney half speed as well as everything I wanted on my RSD list except the Yardbirds.

We'll see if a McCarney II photo comes next.

    And then . . .

Of course a McCartney II photo might make more sense.

McCarney II sounds like a satellite from the Irish space program or something.

"And on whether the Let It Be period (The Beatles broke up soon after) really was as gloomy as the press made it out to be, Paul says he always thought it was until he saw some recently discovered footage of the recording sessions".
It's amazing how your own memories of an event or period can be changed by what you hear about it afterwards.
I think the fact the movie came when relations between them were about as bad as they ever got, plus the way it wass always talked about afterwards, coloured the percetion all of them had of this period...
