Rumors have it that they jammed on: Back In Baby's In Black Highway To Helen Wheels You Shook Me All Night Before Dirty Deeds Done Flowers In The Dirt Cheap
Don't forget: Hi Hi Hi Voltage Whole Lotta Sally G Big Balls Barn Bed Givin' the Little Lamb Dragonfly A Bone
Hey Ray, don't get me started on Macca/Dostoevsky collaborations: You know, stuff like Notes From Off The Ground or Cook Of The House Of The Dead or No More Lonely White Nights. So watch it!
You realize of course that if you take the title of the last Beatles release (1+) and combine it with the year of Dostoevsky's death (1881) you get 1882, a McCartney song about crime and punishment. Just freaky.
Looks like Paul is having some fun with US Presidential Politics Clinton wraps up Hamptons fundraising swing »
"The Democratic presidential nominee expressed her thanks for the support of the former Beatle, but expressed disappointment at the static set list."
That is AWESOME! I was thinking, if John was still with us, he had a place in the Hamptons. Can you imagine the Len/Mac unofficial reunion videos we would have been treated to by now at events like this? Kills me....
Apparently Paul played a mini-benefit for the Democratic nominee: “This is the first time I’ve paid to hear myself sing,” Mr. McCartney told attendees. Hillary Clinton raises millions with private Paul McCartney concert in the Hamptons » I trust I can report this as "news" without engendering political discussion - please refrain from any such talk if you choose to respond. Thanks!
Well, we've heard how Lady Gaga may be doing a duet (or more?) for Paul's animated project - had we heard that Paul might be appearing on HER upcoming album? That's what this article hints at: What we know about Lady Gaga's 'Perfect Illusion' »
Paul's sticking with ASCAP... Paul McCartney renews public performance agreement with ASCAP - Music Business Worldwide » If only they'd revert to their previous website design!
Cool news, but I almost jumped out of my chair when I saw "mrjinks replied to Current..." I don't know if I need new album news/rumors or a doctor!
Just received this joke in an email from Paul's Meat Free Monday site: September, 2016 I might have to add it to my repertoire of humorous remarks...
This raises important questions: 1) Mr. Tofu seems to just be standing in the middle of the road, not actually crossing it. Even the Beatles kept facing in the direction they were heading, when crossing Abbey Road. Is he actually crossing the road? 2) Would "humorous" be spelled "humourous" in the UK? 3) Is there no traffic on the road, so that the image will apply to both the UK and US (and anywhere else, for that matter)?
