Dave Grohl broke his leg tonight

Ullevi Stadium, Goteborg Sweden. A couple minutes into the show Dave fell off the stage and broke his leg! I couldn't believe my eyes. He finished the show sitting in a chair!

 

Now that's dedication folks!

 

A week ago he had more luck while performing "Rock am Ring"

 

is there a specific moment we should be looking for? a time stamp within a nearly 2.5 hour clip would be useful.

 

I just heard it on the swedish news! It happened during the second song.

 

No - don't get me wrong, there was no accident. I just wanted to say that he survived that amazing concert without any injury - and also make people aware of this recording...;-)

 

You know in show biz they used to say "break a leg" to the players before going on stage...

That's an awesome photo. Dude deserves credit for playing the show in spite of everything.

 

And to think Justin Bieber has canceled a show because of a slight cold.. HAH

 

one is a man, the other is a toy.

 

Dave Grohl seems like a hell of a nice guy, going all the way back to Nirvana. Still, I'm kinda burnt out on him.

 

The show must go on.

I never tire of him as a drummer! Just love his style. When I think of him as a front man I agree.

 

Sometimes I wonder, 'when does he ever spend time with his family?'. He's either making an album, on a tour, or making a movie.

 

G'wan Dave. Take that Grohl begrudgers.

 

But Iggy needs to take a break. Dave is a true pro. Everyone would have understood if he walked off...

 

That was nice of Sting to give him a foot massage.

even haters would have to agree that is dedication, commitment and worthy of many kudo's.

noticed someone above stated bieber cancelled due to a cold. what would that possibly change? he lip syncs anyway. unless he would be noticed blowing his nose mid-chorus.

The Swedish news report he went off and had his leg taped up and went back out, with a medic at his side (that's what you see in the picture I guess), then it was decided that he needed a proper cast so he went off again and came back. Through these intermissions the band played covers with Taylor Hawkins singing. I have several friends that went there so I am hoping for reports about this tomorrow, hope they stayed, because it says many in the audience left after the accident, those people really missed something.
