  3. I would have liked to have had the Squigtones album on CD. Appearance from one "Nigel Tufnel" on guitar.

I always felt joy when I'd see him on screen or hear his voice on animation. I didn't realize he'd been battling MS for years. Such a wretched disease.

RIP to a true comedy legend.

To me Lenny and Sqiggy were the best part of the show. Like many shows after a couple of seasons it didn’t have the magic it once had. Saw a clip of them as guests on Fernwood 2 Night. Lander was hilarious as Squiggy.

Wiki lists Dave Appel as a co-producer on the Lenny & the Squigtones LP. Appel was instrumental(pun intended) to Philly's Cameo-Parkway labels during the Chubby Checker era. L&S got that 50's-60's vibe with the right guy behind the scene.
Love that Squiggy's first name was Ant-knee. Local church (Easton,Pa.) named St. Ant-knee's. St. Ant -knee is the Patron Saint of marinara sauce.

I loved him in “Used Cars”, a cult classic. I was watching Barney Miller reruns a while back and saw him in an episode. No mistaking that voice! RIP.

I used to really love that album. I still have my copy I can't play (no turntable) and two CD-R versions.
This is very sad news, his passing, I saw this yesterday.

Lander and McKean were great together, with Harry Shearer, as The Credibility Gap comedy ensemble (or act?) before this. (In no way politically correct, for those easily offended)
A Great Gift Idea.....that was their best album (the first under that name had different people on it)
