Neal Cassady was no ordinary driver. The entire Universe shall be destroyed and created anew before there is another driver like Cowboy Neal. Bobby is wise to keep his gals safe.

At least in the late '80s (maybe before and maybe after?) Bob used to take his road bicycle out for exercise when the tour was in a sufficiently suburban setting (like Saratoga, for instance). At the end of Furthur he had really left himself go - I like the 2020 version a lot better than huge gut/substance abuse problem Bob.

I'm in seat 13 in the second row. If you're in seat 13 in the front row I hope you're short. :)

Dean Moriarty could drive a Cadillac 65 miles an hour inside a parking lot and stop an inch in front of a wall, looking cool the whole time. And we know that fiction wasn't fiction. :)

I found a 6th row ticket for Nashville (love the Ryman) for a semi-reasonable price, so I’m in for a 4 show run through the Villes (Ashe, Knox, Nash and Louis).

Yeah, a friend had a story of directing Bob back to Providence Civic Center when he got lost while bicycling the day of a show in the mid-80s, and he was well known for mountain biking on Mt. Tam in the 90s (and supposedly hurtling down the hill at pretty high speeds). He also played football in the late '80s/early '90s.

Yes, he played for the "Tamalpais Chiefs."

First time I can remember seeing Bertha and Deal back to back. Bobby looks like he's ready to rock.

Very Interesting set and from the pics you can see he was playing electric for at least part of the show. It looks like a list of songs where he plays mostly electric. It’s not up on nugs but I’ll listen when it is. I will likely skip Hard Rain, he kills me with that one. It’s like a never ending dirge and won’t stop hammering the same nail.

Never heard him do that, but it doesn't sound promising. He's very hit or miss on Dylan, and the misses do seem to go on forever.

I haven't heard a ton of Wolf Bros., but I actually like when he's on acoustic with that band. Fits the spare arrangements a lot better and he can actually pull off some slide with the acoustic.

He does tend to get a bit offensive with his choice of tone on the electric, I’d generally prefer the acoustic. There are just so many words to Hard Rain and he’s so dramatic on the chorus. I get it, it’s going to rain, let’s move it along.

He just wants to get the point across. He can be that way.

You are probably better off just looking at set lists and choosing a show that looks like what you want, they are fairly consistent from show to show. I just read something today where they added a bunch of their shows to streaming platforms, pretty much all the big ones.
