    All they have at the Dollar Tree by me are the Drew's Famous CD's. No thanks.

    Got this one too - thanks to the OP for the heads up! :righton:

  8. That one is a Concord Music Group release and I don't recall seeing any of those at Dollar Tree. Guess I will have to visit a couple of the ones close to me next time I drive by one.

    Stopped by my local Dollar Tree today. They had gotten a bunch of new CDs in recently (last time I checked, they had only total crap).

    They had a bunch of copies of the Tift Merritt disc. I picked up a handful to give to friends who like that kind of music. It's a real shame that Fantasy/Concord has chosen to toss that into the cutout bins. That's the kind of album that, in better times, would stay in the retail bins as a slow but sure catalog seller.

    They also had the '90s Dwight Yoakam best-of, some R&B oriented soundtracks, and some other inconsequential stuff.

    Dollar Tree has had nothing new in San Diego for a while, but 99 Cents Only Stores have a *bunch* of Sony PSP UMD movies.

    sparkydog... two questions:

    1) Did you go back and pick up any of those Kenny Loggins SACDs?
    2) Do ya think that girl really gave birth to a frog?

    I picked these up today at Dollar Tree:

    * Barenaked Ladies Are Me
    * Phish Undermined (with bonus DVD)
    * James Blunt All The Lost Souls
    * James Blunt Back to Bedlam

    Even if I got total crap, they cost just $4 plus tax. Hey, this is some new stuff for me. :)

    I picked this one up today. Great deal for $1, considering it's currently a $14.99 CD at J&R. I had never heard of her before. This isn't usually the kind of music I listen to, but I enjoyed playing this album. I do like her singing very much.

    "Keep You Happy" is a great song.

    The Tift Merritt is a pretty good CD. I wish I could find some stores with more CD's...

    I'm playing it now. I hope more people will see this thread and head out to their Dollar Tree and pick up this album. It's only a buck! It's mastered by Doug Sax, too.
