'Drag Me To Hell'

Watching this clip reminds me why I didn’t like this movie. I don’t see comedy, I see bad wire effects in a stupid scene filled with silly dialogue. I do absolutely love other Raimi flicks such as Army of Darkness.

 

That scene would fit perfectly in either AoD or the Evil Deads, as far as style and humor.

 

The yellow Oldsmobile Delta 88 was there though.

 

we watched the Unrated version...just as much fun as the first time...freaky movie indeed...

 

I tend to like the ones that the modern true horror fans dislike.....The ones lacking gross outs and lean toward thriller plots.

 

Yeah, not a big fan of current horror films myself.

 

I thought it was a lot of fun myself.

 

Just did a quick scan of some of the scenes and the one where she cuts the rope and drops the anvil on the gypsy ghost's head made me bust out laughing! They must have had great fun conceiving the scenes and putting them together.

 

It seemed to be a modern take on an old school, 1950s type horror film.
