You sound old and cynical, kind of like you gave up years ago. Worse still is your attempts to be clever, let’s just say you have failed spectacularly....

I can't sound because I'm writing. You tell me about giving up, grandad. It's just my opinion, go and make up your own.

I think the lockdown is maybe getting to you.
Don't worry it will soon all be over, then you can maybe work on that anger and negativity problem of yours.
In the meantime try some breathing exercises to calm you down a bit, you will find plenty of good ones on YouTube.
    Your welcome.

And I simply have no idea why he is. Watching paint dry is probably more exiting.

Can't stand him. Even worse our local council wasted money on an awful mural painting of him when he came for some concerts, except that the mural looked more like a local murderer than Sheeran.

I officially declare Ed Sheeran the world's most annoying ginger prick ! Unfortunately he's allmost certainly the richest beating Chris Evans into second place on both counts. :)

A sad testament to how musical taste has eroded, I must say! Now let's see if he is being talked about with reverence in sixty years, and actually has some real longevity, rather than just benefiting from the way streaming messes with the charts! I've got my doubts... Even my son, whose tastes run more to the modern than my own can't stand this guy.

Good lord, I'm into his music that much but people are still acting like it's the end of times.

  13. Is he the annoying hipster who furiously strums his guitar whilst beating out dead end melodies, pretending to rap?

    Holy crap!

Wait a minute...didn't Sheeran officially admit, on film, that this guy was actually the biggest and best?

I'd never heard of him or heard him, until this wanking thread or another one on this forum. I don't listen to pop-dance-boyband music radio. Since then I watched a couple songs live on youtube from TV performances. I thought he was really good and can see why he has a big fan base. A guy with a guitar. Talented. I have no idea whether I would want to see a whole show, but i see much much worse junk posted here as 'great new stuff'.

He is great live, and very original but I don't really "get" the recordings. I wish he would do some records with just the acoustic guitar and loop pedals and rapping because it's a unique sound.

From the little I've heard of Sheeran playing acoustic solo I wouldn't be surprised if he was heavily influenced by John Smith. I saw Smith about 15 years ago and he was outstanding.

Ed Sheeran original? I've got nothing against the guy but don't make me laugh. Here's KT Tunstall in 2004, when Ed Sheeran was 13.
