Eddie London was born on July 31, 1956 in Dreux, France and grew up in a military family, living in upstate New York. London relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 1978, where he worked as a demo singer and session player. London contributed vocals to a number of demos of songs which were later recorded by A-list country artists such as George Strait, Reba McEntire and The Oak Ridge Boys.

In 1991, London signed to RCA Nashville and released the enjoyable major label studio album "Do It Right." London's neo-traditionalist country style has been compared to the likes of Randy Travis, Keith Whitley, David Frizzell, Lefty Frizzell and Merle Haggard.
