I nabbed the Cream Wheels Of Fire Japan SACD for $33.79 shipped (no tax, yay!)

 

Hey @Sedwards we have similar tastes. I picked the Borodin too, and had gotten the Strauss and the Fleedwood Mac on a previous sale.

 

It's very refreshing to actually see a vinyl sale that's more than 10%

 

Those were some great discounts on some very nice classical titles. And they're even scheduled for delivery today 2 days after I ordered them!

Anyone heard of those japanese classical titles from Reference Recordings? They are $20 or $30 right now i stead of $60 or $70?

 

I didn't see any Reference Recordings on sale on the vinyl side. Please link! I have a Respighi vinyl release of theirs and 2 SACDs that are great.
Are you talking about the Bella Ame Japanese releases they have on sale like this one. I haven't heard any of them.

 

You are correct, i saw RTF Recordings and thought I saw Reference Recordings. It is the Bella Ame Japanese releases. I am still curious how they sound

 

They look interesting and priced right. I just received the Britten and the Borodin 2LP 45 RPM's on London/ORG today. Bernie Grundman mastered from the analogue tapes. Will give then a spin in a bit but those were also really well priced and I'm looking forward to hearing them.

 

And, boom! A full set of Audio Wave Blue Notes XRCDs have been ordered. (I had to get Cape Verdean Blues elsewhere - sold out and not part of the sale.) I've read so many positive comments here about these that, at $20 apiece, I figured I'd better grab 'em! (Weren't these mostly sold out before?)

Also picked a few classical XRCDs that I couldn't find in hi-res form.

And I haven't even gone through the vinyl list yet! Yipes!
